4 Things Everyone Should do During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Mar 23, 2020
As news of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to bombard us, we want to encourage our customers to take every precaution to protect themselves, friends, neighbors, family and coworkers.
Together, we can help slow and stop the spread of this disease.
Our pharmacists suggest the following:
- Wash your hands: Wash your hands with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds every time you return home or touch public surfaces. Carry hand sanitizer if you have to leave home in case soap and water is not available.
- Get your meds: Purchase over-the-counter cold and allergy medications; this way, you will not need to leave your home to pick up medications should you fall ill. And don’t forget to use our FREE Summit County delivery services!
- Develop an action plan: Create a clear-headed plan should you need to isolate yourself or your family for 14 days. This includes ensuring you have enough food, medications, cleaning supplies, paper products, and pet food/litter.
- Stay Connected and Entertained: It’s easy to focus on the logistical side of preparing for isolation, but it’s important to take care of your mental health, too. Make sure your streaming services and computers and phones are up to date and working. Also, this list from the Ohio Department of Health shares fun family activities to do while remaining at home.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns about your mental or physical health, you can call Klein’s Pharmacy at 330-929-9183. We’re here and ready to help you through this COVID-19 crisis and well into the future. Let’s talk.
