COVID-19 Vaccine FAQ

Summit County is among the top ten Ohio counties with the highest number of positive Coronavirus cases, but we have the power to lower our ranking on that list. With COVID-19 vaccines now available, we are administering them as directed by Ohio’s Vaccination Program. NOTE: We are providing the vaccine at our Administration Building at 2503 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls. Do not visit the pharmacy for your COVID-19 vaccine appointment.

As your local pharmacy in Cuyahoga Falls, it’s important to us that we share as much information about the vaccine as possible. Please read through the following Coronavirus vaccine FAQ before making any decisions to receive the vaccination.

If you are eligible for the Coronavirus vaccine, per the requirements listed below, please click here to start the process through Ohio's Get The Shot portal.

Which Coronavirus vaccine can I get at Klein’s Pharmacy?

We are administering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.

Is the vaccine safe?

Yes, the COVID-19 vaccine is safe for most people. If you have an underlying medical condition, especially a history of severe allergic reactions, that you think could render the vaccine unsafe, we suggest you consult with your physician or medical provider before setting up an appointment to receive the vaccine.

Is the vaccine effective?

Yes, all of the COVID-19 vaccines are incredibly effective. Based on the type of vaccine, effectiveness can reach up to 95% protection from the virus.

How much will the COVID-19 vaccine cost me?

The COVID-19 vaccine is completely free of charge.

Will I still need to wear a mask after receiving the vaccine?

Yes, even after completing the vaccine sequence, it is still suggested to continue wearing your mask in public, during travel, or when gathering with individuals outside of your household.

What should I expect from the vaccine process at Klein’s Pharmacy?

Please arrive for your vaccine appointment no more than 5 minutes early. When you arrive for your vaccine appointment, you will need to present your photo ID, insurance card, and COVID-19 vaccination card (if you have one). Once your information is confirmed, one of our pharmacy staff will administer the vaccine to you. After receiving the vaccine, you are required to wait on the property for up to 30 minutes for observation. Once your observation time has passed without concern, you will be allowed to leave.

When do I need to schedule the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine?

Klein’s Pharmacy is administering the Johnson & Johnson Coronavirus vaccine, which is a single shot. A follow-up appointment will not be required.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

All cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Canceling your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time may ruin your vaccine and it will not be able to be administered to anyone else. Because there are limited quantities of the COVID-19 vaccine, we are unable to honor cancellation requests made within 24 hours of your appointment. If you must cancel your appointment, please do so through the confirmation email you receive upon sign-up and call the pharmacy at (330) 929-9183.

Do I need insurance to get the Coronavirus vaccine?

Insurance is not required. However, if you have prescription insurance, we do require you provide your coverage information at the time of registration.
